The last time we saw Mike take a shot at somebody like this, he was drunk and I hadn't quite worked out his personality. It is uncharacteristically violent for him. He's not a pacifist; he just doesn't have the faith in himself to do something like this. This page has major significance, and not just because it's a splash page of Mike punching Todd right in the face. It's also a watershed moment because all of Mike's pent-up feelings about his job situation, and his lack of confidence in himself, all spills out at once with explosive results.

I should point out this page is not based on actual events! I have never punched anyone in the face. At least not on purpose, and only when I was half-asleep.
