This is the first page in what is my least-favorite 5-page stretch of Mike and the Ninja in existence. The next five pages are nothing but Mike and Renee talking, and the only interesting thing to come out of it is that Renee continues to withhold information concerning her motivations. Otherwise, it's a lot of manufactured drama, and it kills the pacing. There's no need for this page; we don't need to see Mike and Renee sitting around, continuing to deliberate. The better approach would have been to skip this exchange, go ahead and get them on the road, and then they can re-address these concerns along the way.

Settle in, folks. The next four pages are going to be a long ride.
