There's been all this tension between Stu and Renee all this time, and it all gets cleared up in the span of three panels. See, you've gotta talk to people. Do you have beef with somebody that's causing you a bunch of stress? Talk it out! Still, to be fair, Renee has a great point. When she picked up Mike and Stu in the desert, if the first thing she told Stu was that The Six were back and insane and she was helping to hunt them down, Stu would have stuffed her in a trash can. Now that he has the inside scoop from a known accomplice in Invader X, they're on the same page, and all is well.

The last panel is based on that infamous newspaper want ad (perhaps you've seen it) of somebody asking for a companion to travel through time with them, and that it wasn't a joke. Well, when Renee saw an add asking for help saving the world and that it wasn't a joke, she answered it. And look where she's at now!
