So here was something I'd never really had to do before, and still haven't had to do (I don't think): write a speech. Fortunately, I wrote a lot of research papers in college, and was occasionally guilty of filling them with flowery language in order to meet word counts. I figured writing a speech might be similar in some respects, so here we are. I think Stu does a pretty good job. He's impassioned, honest, and brief. The only thing he doesn't do is convince the ninja of what they need to be doing. At the moment when they are supposed to stand up and cheer and follow Stu's lead after his incredibly motivating words, they immediately start negotiating. It's heartbreaking in one sense, but it's mostly just supposed to be funny.
