So here's where we find out what really happened to Mike. It's perhaps a bit unlikely, but hey, it's no more unlikely than any of the other adventures we've already seen him on. Plus, it's possible that even if he hadn't decided to take on this profession, the Chaos Gene may have eventually put him on this path, anyway. This also contributes to why Mike doesn't see Stu and Renee all the time.

There are a couple of minor visuals on this page that tickle me. First, the goo from the Kung Pao chicken monster is still on the wall from way back in Volume Two. I know Mike and Stu haven't had a lot of time lately, but they did spend a lot of time working for Bob, so theoretically, that mess should have been cleaned up by now.

The other is the fact that Mike wears a "Jeff's TV and Bridge Repair Service" cap during his adventures. It makes sense because he probably has a closet full of them at home since he owns most of the company, but it also plays into the proliferation of nonsensical hats in our society. People just amass a lot of hats, with brands and logos on them that don't make sense, like a plumber wearing an auto parts store hat, or a kid in the midwest wearing a Duke Blue Devils hat because they think they're in a gang or something. Hats just get everywhere.
