A few pages ago, I questioned whether Stu would kill Sledgehammer Guy had Ponytail Guy not intervened. Here, Stu stops Evil Bad Guy Ninja from killing Ponytail Guy! Why would he do that when it looked like he, himself, was ready to off one of his opponents moments ago? Well, Stu's odds have improved with the arrival of Evil Bad Guy Ninja, so it's still a desperate situation, but perhaps not desperately enough to kill. Plus, Ponytail Guy's arm just got cut off. You have to figure Evil Bad Guy Ninja killing him at this point would be in cold blood. We know Stu would have moral reservations about that. In conclusion, I think it makes sense that Stu stops Evil Bad Guy Ninja here? Let me know in the comments what you think. (Just kidding. There are no comments.)

For the first time in this entire fight, we briefly see two bystanders as Stu takes a bottle of wine from their table. Although it would have been super-complicated to draw, and probably beyond my skill to do so at the time, it would have been quite a spectacle to see this fight transpiring in and around a crowd of people. I think the tension would be out of this world.

The angled panels used here took me out of my comfort zone. For the most part, up to this point, I kept everything neat and parallel, so this layout made me quite uncomfortable. It looks like it worked out, though.
