Trucker Versus Ninja Revisited, Part 2
Original Release Date: May 19, 2009
Stu launches into another history lesson in the goofy history of ninja. This time, it's a wider glimpse into their 1980s heyday, rather than just focusing on Stu like in his story about Pratt. You've got lots of 80s references: spiky hair, Nintendo, cigarettes, G.I. Joe. The flashbacks are an homage to my influences. Well, not smoking; I mean the 1980s, in general.
I think one of the reasons I wanted to do this flashback was to have a legitimate reason to finagle a lot of ninja into the story, for a change. The ninja strike prevents their inclusion, save for Stu and Evil Bad Guy Ninja since they are central characters. It's a fun, effective way of showing what the ninja could be capable of if they could only get their acts together! They can foil Cobra and hide in tiny boxes. What more could you ask for?
This is an instance in which the vehicles actually look good! It helps that they are far away--I could get away with putting fewer details in.
