We are witnessing the origin of one of Mike and the Ninja's fan-favorite characters: Bee Man. I can't take credit for the idea of Bee Man, however. Somewhere in time, my friends decided that Mike and the Ninja needed to have a character that was a man made out of bees. It was a good idea, and a perfect fit for the universe, kind of along the lines of other absurd characters such as Briggs, the headless goon who can still talk, or an evil robot who is programmed to be unable to directly attack his enemies. I just had to find a good way to introduce it.

Naturally, Mike would be the one to bring the character to life. An evasive bee, its swarm, a hapless trucker, and some toxic goo all conveniently in the same place at the same time was all it took for Bee Man to be born. I very much enjoy how this sequence of events came together as a story.
