Stu sounds like Spock in panel two. We were watching Star Trek on Netflix during the making of this comic, so I must have subconsciously applied some Spock characteristics to Stu.
Another tiny art evolution you may have noticed is that Mike's pupils now have a little reflection of light in them. It gives the eyes so much more depth and humanity. It makes Mike seem more like a real person. You'll also notice that, as usual, Mike is drinking soda and Stu is drinking coffee, and you'll see that Stu is drinking his coffee without taking his mask off again. Artwork continuity! I love it!
Panels three and four take some jabs at myself and the story, but they're light-hearted and not at all intended to be self-deprecating. In panel three, Mike says that the idea of a swarm of bees with a human personality is the dumbest thing he's ever heard. He's right; it's a long shot, but how else was I supposed to explain the existence of a man made out of bees? Then, panel four pokes fun at the "crappy, yet convincing" disguise gag. It's always funny. It just is.
