This page is cool, but a little underwhelming. The first thing to notice is that the shadow that was cast on Mike on the previous page, presumably by the energy-collecting tower in the center of the room, isn't there anymore. I also think the tower could have been a little closer--it would have made it appear more imposing because it would have required a lower angle to show the whole thing. The room is also too empty. I wish I had taken the time to include more pieces of machinery, making the room feel fuller and busier, like an important epicenter to Bob's operation. It's okay as it is, but reminiscient of the example "don't do this" panels in How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way.

Of course, the room is dominated by this big negative energy collector, which is this volume's large, power core-esque machine. You may remember when we talked about the power core in Volume 1 and how something similar appears in all three volumes.
