Mike is still drinking soda; Stu is still drinking coffee. All is right in the world.

This is the last page of volume 2, and the cliffhanger at the end is tough to judge. To me, it's not all that exciting because I know who's at the door. The reader, on the other hand, does not. I don't recall getting a lot of feedback on the page, so I never got a good gauge of whom readers thought was at the door, or if they even cared.

Anyway, as mentioned, this is the final page of Volume 2, and the comic went on hiatus for a month after it posted because Amanda's father passed away and my grandmother passed away within two days of each other, and we needed some time to not worry about schedules and do what we needed to do. It was one of the toughest times of our lives, and it was definitely time to take a break from Mike and the Ninja. As much as I enjoyed working on it, committing to a weekly schedule was, at times, shockingly stressful. I can't imagine what it's like for aspiring cartoonists who do this five days a week in addition to holding down a "real life" job.
