Not too much to say about this page. I do really like the high-contrast panel of Mike getting zapped by the laser. At this point, I had only used this type of lighting effect in one or two isolated cases, so it's relatively unrefined, but it gets the point across. I also like the little quivering lines around Mike in panels four and five and the smoke rising off of him--they do a good job of indicating just how powerful the laser is and how much it weakened him.

Also, the title of this page is a reference to a lyric from the Queen song, "Breakthrough." See, Mike is reaching out at the end, so it's (kind of) relevant.
