Original Release Date: March 31, 2009
Mike has another bad running pose on this page. I must have really been rushing these pages to not go back and correct some of the bad artwork. I was trying to get the book done in time for Comic Con, but I wish I hadn't been so careless.
Also, I just noticed you never see Mike's face on this page. His stunt double must be filling in while Mike is off doing a court-mandated PSA on the importance of not impersonating government officials.
This whole page is more or less a tribute or roast of the supervillains of my youth. There's a secret elevator directly to Pratt's office--we can expect no less, right? Renee then comments on villains' love for video when she finds that the only communication device on Pratt's desk is this little video console. If you've seen cartoons, you know how Krang and Shredder and Cobra Commander and others love talking to each other on these enormous video screens and broadcasting their evil messages on network television. It's all about the video. If I could redo this page, I would have a giant video screen hidden behind another one of the book cases. I think it would be appropriate.
